The mix of lawns, gardens and indoor spaces means that there are a lot of different photo opportunities both day an night whatever the weather is doing, while the events team at Woodstock is very accommodating and will do their best to make sure requests are met with a minimum of fuss, ensuring a smooth process for all on your special day.

Our experience of taking Woodstock Winery wedding photos

We have helped many couples celebrate their marriage at Woodstock Wine Estate, and what makes it such an enjoyable venue from a photographer’s point of view is the way the changes in light create different effects — golden hour shots as the sun sets amongst the vines at the end of the day can be particularly atmospheric.

It’s also the ideal venue for candid wedding photography, as there is plenty of space for our photographers to set up equipment and move amongst guests having fun and a dance during the course of the reception.

The bridal suite provides a wonderful setting for shots of the bride getting ready and having her hair done ahead of the ceremony, while the gardens, lawns and water features, which are surrounded by gum trees and the vines, enable us to shoot the bridal party and guests against a variety of naturally dream-like backgrounds.

There is also a wide choice of set ups that we can use on the day for formal portraits of the happy couple, with shots amongst the vines as the sun sets creating genuinely memorable images that will be cherished for ever.

However, should the weather prove unkind on the big day, there is a choice of covered areas and indoor spaces (including a marquee) that can provide a suitable alternative. As part of our planning, we make sure that we have earmarked places that will still provide the shots you need regardless of what the weather is doing.
