Perfect Venues For a South Australia Wedding
We have had the privilege of photographing a number of weddings in the McLaren Vale region and so we want to tell you a little bit about them and show you some of the incredible wedding photos we took there. There are so many to choose from but we will show you just a few McLaren Vale wedding venues that stood out to us because of their rolling vineyards, stunning restaurant and panoramic views.
Dog Ridge Winery & Cellar Door
DogRidge winery is a little less known but its a really charming location in McLaren Vale for a small wedding celebration. Its wines at its cellar door are some of the best wines I’ve ever had in South Australia. The wedding we photographed there was really lovely. The ceremony was setup in front of an old classic truck and there reception was outdoors under a large gumtree. We have a fun couples photoshoot with the bride and groom and took some great couple photos in the vineyard and in the barn. Its a great spot for a wedding assuming there isn’t going to be any rain.
Woodstock Winery’s Rustic Charm
Woodstock winery has some lovely vineyard views and has a very charming wedding venue to entertain your guests and to celebrate your wedding. As soon as you arrive at Woodstock Winery you are greeted by really tall gumtrees that fill the carpark giving you a sense that you have escaped to a private location with family and friends. The ceremony location is usually setup right in front of the gorgeous vineyards and the reception hall has a lot of rustic charm. You also have the opportunity to get some great photos in the wine cellar.
Celebrate Your Wedding or Next Event at Serafino
Serafino is one of the most popular venues in McLaren Vale and its a great location to enjoy your special day. It has spacious outdoor grounds and a large venue that can cater for up to 300 guests. There are multiple locations on the grounds to host the ceremony on your special day and a large reception area
