What deposit is required to secure my date?
The client will pay a deposit as stated on the quote (or full payment). This is payable upon execution of an agreed package. The deposit is non refundable.
How can I pay my deposit/reservation fee?
Payments can be made via direct bank transfer, as shown on our invoices. Deposits (or full payment) are to be paid by the due date, otherwise your date can be offerred to another customer.
When is the final balance due?
Final balance is due one month prior to the event date. For any last minute bookings, full payment must be received to ensure your booking goes ahead.
What if i decide to cancel my booking?
Cancellations will not be given a refund. This is because we have reserved the date for you and have turned away potential customers.
PACKAGE/COVERAGE
The package/inclusions is outlined on the invoice, as per the quote. Additional charges will apply if extra coverage/work is requested.
COPYRIGHT
Blush & Pose Photography retains the copyright for all images and are protected by Australian copyright laws. A copyright licence is granted to the client for personal use only. Blush & Pose Photography retains the right in all cases to use the photographs in any manner, at any time and in any part of the world, for the purposes of advertising or otherwise promoting work. Sharing/giving our images to other suppliers for their use breaches copyright laws.
exclusivity
Blush & Pose Photography shall be the sole professional (still) photographer and/or videographer at the venue/s specified. We do however, positively encourage family, friends and other guests to take photographs/video throughout the event.
We understand this may not always be the case, especially for larger corporate events and conferences and acknowledge that we may have to work alongside other photographers/videographers.
weather
Please understand that weather is out of our control. For outdoor events, full sun can make your images look harsh and washed out. We will use our expertise to capture the best possible photos. In the case of rain, further options (and a back up plan) should be considered.
how many photos will i receive?
Depending on your chosen package and hours of coverage, it could be anything from 50-290 photos. The more that is happening, the more we have to photograph. The final number of images provided will be carefully considered and determined.
LOCATION & ENVIRONMENT
You should always remember that the location and the environment in which the photography is taking place can greatly affect the overall look and feel of your images. For example messy/bland rooms, tight spaces, untidy backyards etc.
quality of service
Blush & Pose Photography will provide a photography/video service of the quality advertised on its website or as shown to the client privately. Only images/video that meet Blush & Pose Photography’s standard will be provided. Images/video not supplied to the client are deleted from the system at point of selection and are not stored in archive.
EDITING
Blush and Pose Photography has a natural style of editing which is reflected on our website. We veer away from heavy filtering and processing. By choosing Blush & Pose Photography, you have viewed our work and trust the final result. Any editing requests to photos (such as cloning people/animals/objects in or out), especially once the final edit/s have been delivered will be charged. Please note we cannot make people look slimmer or younger.
do you give out raw images?
Blush & Pose Photography will not provide RAW (unedited) images or video. This is standard in the industry and allows us to preserve our creativity and professionalism.
viewing
Final images will be supplied within 7-14 days of the event, unless you have opted for a 24/48 hour turn around time at an additional cost. Photos will be supplied via a private online gallery in high resolution with download and sharing ability.
DO YOU PROVIDE PRINTS/PRODUCTS
We do not provide physical prints or products (such as albums or wall art) for small events.
attendance
In the unlikely event that Blush & Pose Photography is unable to complete the coverage due to unforeseen circumstances, Blush & Pose Photography will arrange a replacement photographer to cover the agreed timeframe. Blush & Pose Photography will still edit the photos for final delivery.
limitation of liability
In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of the agreed contract by either party, or in any other circumstances, the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the agreed contract. Neither party shall be liable for direct or consequential loss.
complaints procedure
Any complaints should be made within 1 week of the images being supplied. This should be addressed in writing/email to Blush & Pose Photography. We endeavour to respond to any complaints within 48 hours.
