Welcome! Thank you for choosing Blush & Pose Photography.
Selecting a photographer/videographer to tell your story is probably one of the most important decisions you will have to make in the upcoming months and one that will be with you for the rest of your life. Our goal is to tell your story the best way possible. We treat every wedding with the care and trust that it deserves. The responsibility of documenting your day is one we take very seriously.

What deposit is required to secure my date?
The client will pay the required deposit (as stated on the quote) to secure the date, payable upon execution of an agreed package. The deposit is non refundable, because we have reserved the date for you and turned away potential customers.
How can I pay my deposit/reservation fee?
Payments can be made via bank transfer, as shown on our invoices. Deposits are to be paid by the due date as stated on your invoice.
When is the final balance due?
Final payment is due no later than one month before the date of the wedding.
What if i decide to cancel my booking?
Cancellations will not be given a refund. This is because we have reserved the date for you and have turned away potential customers.
COPYRIGHT
Blush & Pose Photography retains the copyright for all images and/or video and are protected by Australian copyright laws. A copyright licence is granted to the client for personal use only. Blush & Pose Photography retains the right in all cases to use the photographs/video in any manner, at any time and in any part of the world, for the purposes of advertising or otherwise promoting work. Sharing/giving our images/video to other suppliers for their use breaches copyright laws.
exclusivity
Blush & Pose Photography shall be the sole professional (still) photographer and/or videographer (if applicable) at the venue/s specified. We do however, positively encourage family, friends and other guests to take photographs throughout the day.
weather
Please understand that weather is out of our control. Full sun can make your images/video look harsh and/or washed out. We will use our expertise to capture the best possible photos and/or video. In the case of rain, further options should be considered for any group or couple photos/video.
how many photos will i receive?
This really depends on the package you have chosen, as well as how your day runs and what there is to photograph. As a general guide, it could be anything from 50-600+ photos. The final number of images provided will be carefully considered and determined.
quality of service
Blush and Pose has a natural style of editing which is reflected on our website. We veer away from heavy filtering and processing. By choosing Blush & Pose, you have viewed our work and trust the final result. Any additional editing requests to photos (for example; cloning people/animals/objects in or out) and/or video (such as moving/changing scenes), especially once the final edit/s have been delivered will be charged. Please note we cannot make people look slimmer or younger. Only images/video that meet Blush & Pose Photography’s standard will be provided.
do you give out raw files?
Blush & Pose Photography will not provide RAW (unedited) images or video. This is standard in the industry and allows us to preserve our creativity and professionalism.
DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY
Drone photography/video is dependant on time, weather and location and not something we promise to do. Blush & Pose Photography adheres to all CASA regulations.
LOCATION & ENVIRONMENT
You should always remember that the location and the environment in which the photography and/or video is taking place can greatly affect the overall look and feel of the final edit. For example messy rooms and tight spaces.
does 2 photographers mean i will receive more images?
If your package includes 2 photographers, this does not mean you will receive more or double the images. Having 2 photographers means, we are able to capture photos from different angles, as well as cover each other when necessary.
viewing
Final images/video will be supplied 5-7 weeks following the ceremony. The time frame may be shorter if you have chosen a smaller package.
Albums
Please allow between 2-3 months for an album to be designed, ordered, printed and posted to you. Album production is out of our control, but we will endeavour to keep you updated on the progress.
OTHER PRODUCTS
If your package includes additional products, we will work with you to finalise and order these once you have made your selection/s.
attendance
In the unlikely event that Blush & Pose Photography is unable to complete the coverage due to unforeseen circumstances, Blush & Pose Photography will arrange a replacement photographer/videographer to cover the agreed timeframe. Blush & Pose Photography will still edit the photos and/or video for final delivery.
limitation of liability
In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of the agreed contract by either party, or in any other circumstances, the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the agreed contract. Neither party shall be liable for direct or consequential loss.
how DOES THE PHOTO BOOTH WORK?
The photo booth is for use during the evening reception. Props and a guest book are included. Some packages may include the photo booth, otherwise, we offer a discounted rate when you choose to add this on.
what if i’ve chosen to add on a highlight video?
Depending on your package or hours of coverage, the final length will be outlined in your pricing. We will weave in parts of speeches and vows. We do not use entire vows or speeches, and chop out all the ‘faff’ and dead air talk. Additional charges will apply should you request extra edits not included as part of your package.
what if i’ve chosen a ceremony video only?
We will video your ceremony and use dual camera set up. We chop out all the ‘faff’ and dead air talk that isn’t necessary and aim to arrive at least 45 minutes before your ceremony start time to begin set up.
complaints procedure
Any complaints should be made within 1 week of delivery. This should be addressed in writing/email to Blush & Pose Photography. We endeavour to respond to any complaints within 48 hours.
